Hacking,Legal or illegal? #6

 Hacking,Legal or Illegal?

Well, Hacking is a word that we almost think of in negative ways. When we hear the word "hacker" we just imagine that it might be a wrong person, but that's not it. Here comes my 6th blog to entertain you about hacking.

Let's start with some basics, so basically hacker is of three types;

1. WhiteHat Hackers   2. BlackHat Hackers   3. GreyHat Hackers.

1.WhiteHat Hackers: Also known as"Ethical Hackers", they are the hackers who are contracted or employed by companies and government entities. They have been given work by companies to check their online databases and look out for vulnerabilities in programs. They are usually the good hackers in simple words as they do not misuse of their hacking skills.

2.BlackHat Hackers: They are opposite to whitehat hackers as they usually create malwares, steal private data like login credentials, along with financial or personal information. They are usually motivated by personal gain, but can also participate in protests, spying, or merely enjoy the thrill. They can be called illegal hackers which can be arrested by police.

3.GreyHat Hackers: As the name suggests, these hackers utilise both aspects from white and black hat hackers. They just seek into the system without any permissions and if any vulnerability is found, they tell the owner of that particular site. As they do not have permissions to access system they are usually considered illegal.

After reading this, you might have understood that Hacking is an attempt to exploit a computer system or private network inside a computer.

Conclusion: Well, Hacking is not a crime or illegal unless or until it is used for negative purposes like stealing confidential details. Ethical Hackers do have their job salary.

Whatsapp new Privacy Policy. Data will be shared!

  WhatsApp, the messaging platform owned by Facebook, has updated its Privacy Policy. All users received a notice, saying that the service will now be sharing user data with other Facebook companies. This comes in stark contrast with what the company initially promised back in 2014 during the acquisition by Facebook when WhatsApp assured its goal is to know “as little as possible”. While users were able to opt out until now, starting February 8, they will have only one solution, if they don’t want their data to be owned by the parent company - uninstall the app and stop using the service. Some of the info WhatsApp is collecting and will be sharing includes location data, IP addresses, phone model, OS, battery level, signal strength, browser, mobile network, ISP, language, time zone, and even IMEI. There’s also the information about how you are messaging, calling, what groups you are attending, the Status, the profile photo, last time the you were online, etc. WhatsApp even added a ...
